Sammy was not Underboss while Frankie was alive. Sammy was a captain at that point. Frankie was Underboss and Joe N Gallo was Consiglieri.

Anybody that says this film, although maybe good, can compare to Goodfellas and the first two godfathers is out of their mind.

@kispu7YouTube
@gitsome7118 they say its the best mafia movie cause its the most true to life based on a real story and the best depiction of how these guys acted. The godfather is insanely romanticized and unrealistic and gets most things wrong like how they have an irish guy as consigliere.

Great movie but Gravano never built a school in 1980s and other families were more involved in school contracts especially in Bronx Brooklyn and Queens. In Operation Textbook mostly Lucchese mobsters were caught diverting funding from classroom expansion and new schools.

@kispu7Michael Franzese said this was the most accurate portrayal of the American mafia life. This movie is raw. Goodfellas, Casino, Godfather are riveting. The greatest mafia movies in terms of keeping the viewer entertained. This movie and Donny brasco dive deeper into the way these people act, speak, and its spot on.

This is without a doubt a TOP TIER mafia movie, one of the best and definitely worth watching. All the actors were so authentic. Even real ex mobsters say that this movie is well done.

@dexkeeling1100 I can see the reasoning behind your comment. I agree to a certain extent. Definitely the more accurate portrayal in a lot of ways over Goodfellas. Shame this movie wasn’t released in theaters.
