I don't get why we eat snails, frogs, bee vomit and all sorts of marine creatures dead and alive but we get scared by some of the most available and nutritious foods. We'd rather grow meat in a lab than learning nonna's recepy for roach ragù 😂

I mean at the end of the day all biomass on Earth gets consumed, ever seen the Lion King? It's the circle of life. No need to cut so many steps and eat bugs directly.
That's my one pet peeve with all dystopian settings, literally everything could be so much more tolerable if you raised some animals that eat food humans are not meant to eat.
The only time feeding insects to humans makes sense is when the point is to dehumanize them.
