Day 12 of learning Arabic is here, and today I am reviewing the Arabic alphabet.
I am breaking down the 28 base letters and the special hamza character to help solidify my foundation in the Arabic language. Whether you are looking for resources to learn Arabic or just want to brush up on the basics of Arabic letters, this session is a great place to start.
Follow along for day 13 and let me know in the comments what other language learning topics you want to see me practice next.

Sun letters are basically letters that turn the ل in the ال with a شدَّة (like stress) for example الشمس (the sun) would actually be pronounced Ashhams instead of Alshams because ش is a sun letter
The moon letters on the other hand are letters where the ل isn't silent for example القمر (the moon) is pronounced Alqamar instead of Aqqamar because ق is a moon letter
The sun letters are: ت،ث،د،ذ،ر،ز،س،ش،ص،ض،ظ،ط،ل،ن
The moon letters are the rest of the letters that aren't sun letters
I hope this helps!
