Sound like people like the way it looks but aren’t blown away by the story

@renriiiquezYouTube

Yeah the story is a little basic for sure like we’ve definitely seen it but the quality and craftsmanship is undeniable and one of a kind

I disagree the plot is wonderful. Just more of traditional fantasy but made your a young audience but not for children. Game of thrones/lord of the rings kid of world. The villain is amazing she is scary, smart, tough, manipulative. And the voice acting is excellent

I think we agree more than you think. Like you said, it’s traditional fantasy, which is what I mean by basic. We’ve definitely seen this storyline before both in fantasy and other genres, that doesn’t mean it’s not wonderful or told well, it’s just not hugely unique in terms of story.

Guy: probably the most impressive movie you’ll ever see
Also guy: 8.5/10

You can think a movie is impressive from a filmmaking perspective but you don’t have to personally connect with it on a deeper level or think the story is 10/10. The score I gave it is still really high and higher than most movies I watched this year.

It's not my favorite of the year, unfortunately, as Iron Lung felt like it was made for me. It is absolutely a close second though

@kay-jay1581 I agree. I loved the story. I loved Prue. I think the scoring here is quite pretentious.

@renriiiquezYouTube

How is it pretentious?😂
