In The Matrix, Neo asks for “guns. Lots of guns” to rescue Morpheus in one of the film’s most iconic action sequences. But beneath the explosive gunfight lies a deeper moral question: does fighting oppression justify using violence? When we believe someone is fighting for the right cause, do we judge their actions differently? This scene challenges the way we think about power, rebellion, and justice.

What do you think? Can violence ever be justified when fighting oppression?

There is always a point at which violence becomes necessary and unfortunately here in the United States that point is very quickly reaching us.

The threat of violence is the final option in all scenarios. Especially when communication breaks down.

If you rob a bank, you will be threatened with violence.

If you protest, you will be threatened with violence.

There is a YouTuber trying to sue me, and he started resorting to violence when the court system wasn't going his way.
