​@autistic_robot2395 it's because every star I mean every star is not immortal they have time if that time reach its end they explode and release a supernova they explode like first they swell bigger and bigger then explode releasing it's outer layer and make a supernova then the thing left is the core that turns Into a Neutron star it spins about 1000 times per second and when two neutron stars clash together they explode and make a Killnova remnant and the thing makes a black hole and btw black holes doesn't get bigger when they absorb energy or matter they only get bigger when they smash to another black hole

@norhidaya0 tho stars not necessary turn into neutron stars, only if big enough but also could turn into black holes if big enough, tho technically you might theoretically expand the lifespan of a star if you fuel it with enough hydrogen, but how or if that works isnt necessary clear, especially since you would most likely still need to get rid of the fusion product since otherwise the star would prb explode

@Little-cat-9-f7q That is not at all how nuclear fusion works. It's not about sparking a chain reaction. It's about having enough matter. The gravity of the sun is already enough to cause atoms to collide and create that fusion. Dropping a nuke into the sun is like drop of water into the ocean. You're not changing the sea level with a single drop. You're not creating fusion with a nuke in the sun.

The whole premise of this movie is flawed from the onset. The idea that the sun would suddenly burn out billions of years early is what is flawed. That would mean it had significantly less mass than it does, which would mean it wouldn't have as much gravity as it does, which would mean it wouldn't be able to create stable orbits of so many planets as it does and so on.

The whole premise is based on a bad understanding of science. But ok, that's fine. It's fiction. Sometimes you have to give a little grace and suspension of disbelief. The real problem is the bad science all over the place.

I get what you mean the famous celebrities really never let new faces or actors have a chance to get good roles a famous actor should stick to a few and then let new faces and talent emerge instead of hogging all the spotlight. Like look at mcu it’s so annoying I don’t even know how many stranger things cast are going to appear now or other famous actors of other franchises, there are plenty of of new actors wanting roles even if there not as good it’s fine it’s not like the directors are star quality either.
