In their defense, there’s nothing they can do for them that will get anywhere close to paying back the sacrifice they make for our country. It’s still completely unacceptable how little they actually try, but the best thing a politician can do is not send our boys to war.

This has always been the case.

Politicians lie by telling these men to fight for their country when really they want these men to fight for the wallets of Politicians.

You won't get many people to enlist by telling them the truth. Politicians know that if they start a conflict and make it look like your country was attacked unprovoked it'll rile people up enough to get them to enlist in a war that never even needed to happen.

If only Politicians fought their own wars. I know I'd fall asleep like a baby to videos of the rich getting drone striked or having nades dropped on their laps while crying in a foxhole. 😂
