The producers tried to give it a Darker Edge . At the end of the movie there was a bonus scene . Where they were " cleaning up the aftereffects of the Dream Bear attack. The word Essex corporation was on one of the containers meaning a supposed tie in with the mutant scientist / villain Mister Sinister. It was supposed to be linked with a sequel if they Were going to make one. I just wish they stop doing that. It so disappointing to see a bonus scene, Then find out later on that there won't be sequal for some outside reason.
