Why Did Andy Refuse the Beer After Giving Them Freedom? #movie #film #edit

Because of Andy’s deal with Hadley, the prisoners sit together on the roof, drinking cold beer under the sun. ☀️🍺 For a moment, they don’t look like prisoners—they look like ordinary men enjoying a normal afternoon. Andy stays in the shade, quietly watching them with a strange smile, as if admiring something he created. 🕊️ He has earned their respect, but when Haywood offers him a beer, Andy simply says, “No, thanks. I quit drinking.” His reward was never the beer. It was the feeling of being human again. For a few precious minutes, Shawshank could not take that feeling away. ❤️
