Every time I watch this movie Kleinfield reminds me of 2Pac. The part where Carlito tells him, you ain't a lawyer anymore dave, you a gangster now, you on the other side, you can't learn about it in school and you can't have a late start. 2Pac wasn't a gangster till he was already too old, he started to surround himself with gangsters that knew the game, he lacked the ability to tell friend from foe because he too had a late start and that's why he ended up where he ended up.

@freebee8221 cause Carlo should've thought "Frank wasn't expecting me? Dave didn't tell him I was coming? Why?" That should've tipped him off that Dave brought him there another reason. Because if it was just for help, he would've told Frank that he was bringing Carlito, but he didn't want him to know. Dave and Frank were all that was needed to get Frank's dad out of the water, but Dave brought Carlito along--basically to use him as a distraction to kill Mr. Taggialuchi--not for backup.
