BTS Scanners (1981)

Omygosh, Scanners! What a movie.

Michael Ironside is one of my top 5 favorite actors he's always been a good villain!! I loved him in Total Recall and he's the voice actor for Sam Fisher in Tom Clancy Splinter Cell!! That game made me like him even more😊

This movie was impactful to the young child in the early 80s. I drew so many images of humanoids with way too many veins creeping up their neck into their face. Excellent suspense. Iron sides has always been so captivating.

Michael Ironside FTW. The guy has always been awesome, will always be awesome.

Watched Scanners endlessly on HBO as a kid in the early 80s.

if I saw this movie a little younger than I was.. it would have messed me up

Michael Ironside, one of my favorite bad guys!!!

I will always remember him in V

Michael Ironside could sit and read numbers from the telephone directory and he’d still be watchable!

Patrick McGoohan was actually born on New York and was a US citizen so the aspersion he was a drunk because he was British is neither here or there. He's was a high-functioning alcoholic in spite of his heritage not because of it. A lazy ignorant example of the generalisation fallacy.

Looved Scanners. Saw it so many times as a kid (3 times in the theater) and even more on those early days of cable and even more as an adult. Still watch it whenever I see it on. Introd Michael ironside to me and I remain a lifelong fan! It was also so cool to see frank Oz on camera, then he was somewhat elusive.

Scanners was one of my favourite movies back then. And for an 11 old, it was horrifying! But I loved it :-D My mates and I had heaps of fun making our own version of it :-D

When I was in bootcamp in the Marines I got in trouble for something the last week and my punishment was I didn’t get to watch the movie “Scanners”. I had the last laugh because I had already seen it. Ha ha.

Does anyone remember him in V the series? ❤❤❤
