Arabic teacher = Therapist

As an Arabic teacher I’m a therapist, a counselor, a mentor, and then a teacher.

This is because the path of seeking knowledge is something that requires heart and very importantly a STRATEGY to get to the point you’re striving for.

I was separated from my family for 5 years so that I could get knowledge and pass it on to benefit others. My wife and children were in a different continent than me also striving to learn the Arabic language for the sake of Allah.

This can completely derail someone off of the path, but what allowed us to continue pushing forward was the fact that we were in an environment and community built around supporting one another.

And this is exactly why we implement this so heavily in madrasaX.

Students studying together, working together, laughing together.

Because companionship is crucial for striving Muslims.

WE WERE NEVER MEANT TO DO THIS ALONE.
