I’d say that unfair to say about him. He did join the unit with best of the best soldiers the war ever saw, but he was probably in training while Easy Company was actively seeing combat. Not his fault that he joined the unit after Easy saw its last real action. Even still, I would consider him one of the lucky ones. Apart from the horrors of the camp they found.
