Likely everything was filmed on a public street, kind of usual for Hollywood. So there was a camera crew, directors and so on while people just fell to the ground playing being shot. Forensics would show bullets with two different striations created as the bullet traveled down the barrel. Alternatively, the two rifles might have had different calibers.
