Just less blood.
Unless you are a father trying to report a missing kid.
As said in the clone wars show "when it comes to your health sir, i outrank you all".
Its a good quote.
They’re probably under a lot of stress and they just forgot how much morphine they gave him.
"It was an accident."

Captain Winters actor
Harry's actor and the medic Euguene's actor
I'm just south of the Wyoming border, raised around guns my entire life, and I don't think I'd have shot that fast.
it's called metric, it's not new, and you should really look into it xD
Also there's some useful tools to change officers minds, at least over here in Finland us medics have the right to order ANYONE we suspect that might be suffering a heat stroke to pull their pants down and assume "the receiving position" for core temperature reading RIGHT ON THE SPOT. Needles to say that's a very nifty method to persuade anyone into nearly anything. 😂
That he survived at all is a miracle in and of itself. I've killed alot of things with a .30-06 and most of them has been significantly larger than humans. It's a devastating round
American feels threatened, panics, and starts shooting.
Legit.
Leg, hip, & shoulder
Woof, those aren't light bullets either, unless by some miracle that bone structure is gonna be devastated
It's common knowledge that when impaled with something, the last thing you do is pull it out. But people panic and do just that.
That's the thing about panic; it erases intelligence.
Personally, not sure I would have. I'd think it was weird that two germans were strolling their way around that close
Literally any soldier will tell you that
*Immediately starts blasting*
That's the show's version at least. Going by the accounts of people who were there the sentry was an experienced veteran rather than a fresh replacement, which puts the incident in a slightly different light.
Huh. I don't know I feel that's worse. Fresh greenie, okay it's a fucked situation, but guy's new. I can see a legit defense from either nerves or lack of knowledge of protocols. But a vet? Mm, that kinda makes the fuck up feel THAT MUCH WORSE.
Rule 2, Doc is the only enlisted trooper who can berate an officer
Best thing to do is what winters did, rotate him out. Hopefully put word in to get him sent home, honorably, he did his bit but he's wearing out.
Any officer trying to pull rank on a doc for doing doc things is going to very quickly have his behavior corrected. Medics may formally exist within the traditional rank structure, but in practice, they cease to exist in that rank structure when carrying out their duties.
If they're just going about general soldierly duties, that's one thing. But medics are such a specialized knowledge and skill set with such high risks that really only other medics can boss them around when it comes to medical care of troops.
So, no. You wouldn't have threatened doc with consequences. You would have said: "Understood doc, my mistake. I won't make it again, doc."
Well, the more intelligent amongst us are impressed by the acting ability of people from other countries. Does it ruffle your red and white striped feathers that Americans were not chosen for the roles.
"HITLER'S CANOE?!?"
Contrast with General Nathan Bedford Forrest who accidentally rode into the Union lines, and was politely told of his error and pointed in the right direction. He thanked the Yankees, saluted them, and rode to his own camp.
Strange things happen in war.
Even veterans get jumpy.
How much you can call the 101st veterans when they had never seen combat before D-Day and had only fought a handful of times before being withdrawn from Normandy is debatable. If anything, the men who experienced Normandy, returned to England and then were dropped into Holland had even more reason to be jumpy than the replacements; they were aware of the dangers.
When it's not moving and isn't making any threatening actions?
Definitely American cop logic.
Doc's job is first and foremost to see that they make it home.
If you believe that, well maybe you're interested in buying a bridge.
