As a stand alone film, NWH just doesnt hold up. To many awkward pauses for characters youve never met and half of the characters motivation dont quite add up to begin with. I still love it cuz im a spidey fan not because its a great film, theres a difference

The main reason Im lower on homecoming is that unlike bnd and other movies outside of toms trilogy is that there are no scenes of Spider-Man swinging in a city between skyscrapers, or any swinging scenes in general

NWH really isn't that rewatchable. Ive seen it 3 times in my life and it gets worse every time. Once the amazement of Tobey and Andrew coming back wears off, you're really only left with Peter grappling with Aunt May's death carrying the film.

I’ve seen brand new day about 4-5 times now and I can comfortably say it’s the best Tom Holland spidey film by a country mile. NWH has peak moments but it doesn’t reach those moments until the last 45 mins of the film. BND had me invested from start to finish, is arguably the best looking spiderman film (from a cinematography standpoint), isn’t heavily connected to MCU (not like the first 3 were) and had some of the most heart out of the bunch. This is all my opinion, I get each film has its place in someone’s heart as the best, this is just how I feel.

Idk I just feel like tom has the most non re watchable trilogy, far from home is suchh a boring drag aside from that one fight at the end. Home coming just isn’t Spiderman you really don’t care abt anything in that movie not even love interest up until the plot twist that was the only really good thing abt the movie. No way home is literally carried by the Spidermen bein present cs up until the apt fight scene at least, that movie was kinda bad like the pacing was weird cs the movie obviously just wanted to get to the parts everyone was waiting for

No Way Home is weird to watch on TV, it's a complete theater experience. You feel that they are taking pauses for audience to cheer at certain moments. Definitely one of the best theatrical experiences but not more than that.

No way home is genuinely the second weakest movie in the tom era of Spider-Man. Terrible writing, boring hour long intro before even pushing the plot forward, and some of the worst action scenes in marvel. It’s just blatant nostalgia bait. The only movie worse is far from home just because they made Peter an actual dumbass in that movie.
